CMI Introduces New Biometric Time & Attendance Module

Charlotte, NC - CMIsolutions, Inc. announces the launch of BioTime Manager, a new biometric time & attendance module. With the tap of a fingertip, BioTime Manager scans each employee’s unique fingerprint, allowing them to accurately and efficiently clock in and out. This streamline procedure puts an end time theft and “buddy punching” – the act of employees clocking in/out for each other.

In addition to eliminating time theft, BioTime Manager also streamlines payroll procedures. With BioTime Manager, there are no timecards to total, audit, and reconcile. All time & attendance data is compiled real-time, giving CMI clients the most accurate and up-to-date information at any given moment. With simple, yet robust reporting, it is easy to determine and control costs associated with products, projects, processes, and/or personnel. BioTime Manager’s seamless integration with leading small business payroll and accounting programs provides a streamlined process that eliminates human errors resulting from math and data entry mistakes --- providing fast and accurate administration of payroll for businesses. BioTime Manager easily integrates with Quickbooks, Peachtree, ADP, PenSoft, and Paycheck. Custom integrations are also available.

“After speaking with a number of our clients, a common grievance they all shared was an inefficiency of managing their employees’ time and attendance. Between co-workers clocking in and out for one another and a staggering amount of unauthorized overtime, our clients were really ready for an innovative new way to rehaul the way they tracked this information,” states Joe Terranella, VP of Sales and Consulting for CMI. “The most surprising aspect was how the store employees reacted to the implementation. Instead of feeling micromanaged, they welcomed the objective and fact-based documentation of their work hours.”
